How long does delivery to Botswana take?

Economy air is 7–10 business days from the day your parcel leaves our US warehouse, priority is 4–6 and express is 2–3. Add 1–2 days for customs clearance and door delivery outside Gaborone.

How much is duty and VAT?

Accepted Answer

Botswana assesses duty and VAT on the value of the goods plus freight. Most general goods and electronics land around 14%, clothing and footwear can reach 34%, and books are duty free. The estimator applies these rates for you.

Do you charge for storage?

Accepted Answer

The first 30 days are free for every account and 60 days on Bonanza Plus. After that, storage is a small daily fee per parcel, invoiced with your shipment.

Can you buy from a store that rejects my Botswana card?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Send us the link and we buy on your behalf with our US cards for 7% of the item value, minimum $6. You get the store's own order confirmation.

What can't you ship?

Accepted Answer

No aerosols, flammable liquids, loose lithium batteries, weapons, ammunition or narcotics. Pharmaceuticals, supplements, drones and radio gear are restricted and need paperwork — ask us first.

Is my shipment insured?

Accepted Answer

Every shipment is covered to the declared value. Declare accurately: claims are settled on the declared amount and the store invoice.

How do I pay?

Accepted Answer

Visa and Mastercard, local bank transfer, or mobile money. Freight is payable before dispatch; duty and VAT are settled at clearance and shown on your invoice.

Question 8

Can I return an item to a US store?

Accepted Answer

Yes, while the parcel is still in our warehouse. We can print the store's return label and drop it off for you. Once a parcel has flown, returns cost the same as a fresh shipment.
